Mythology class update - February 27

In today's class we discussed the details behind Virgil's Aeneid - that it was modeled after Homer's Iliad and Odyssey - and that there was a clear political agenda to the story.  We also fully fleshed out the details of the entire story.  Then we watched a fabulous stick figure movie about the events in the Aeneid.


Homework:
1. Finish working on your OMG project as it's due on March 13.
2.  Keep working on your review handout.  Please let me know if you are stumped! 
3.  Test over all Greek/Roman mythology will be on March 6th.
4.  We will have a sub next week.  Please bring your book - Summerland - and your Daulaire's Book of Norse mythology so that you have something to work on when you have completed the test. 
5.  Tuition is due next week.  The substitute will collect checks if you have them, or you may mail them to me.
