Second and Third Form Latin update - week 17 - January 26

Second Form: In today's lesson we learned about third conjugation -io verbs.  These verbs in form look just like the 4th conjugation that we learned last week - but do belong to the third conjugation.  The students need to be sure that they know to which conjugation each verb belongs.  Grammatically, there are no new forms to learn this week!

Third Form: We continued our overview of pronouns - adding the intensive and reflexive pronouns to the mix.  These are formed in English by adding self/selves to him, her, my, your, and them.

1. Reread the lesson from this week - Second Form: pages 46-47; Third Form: 56-57
2. Workbook pages - Second Form: pages 89-94; Third Form: 131-136
3. notecards and derivatives
4. Upcoming projects: Rachel - Octavian - Feb 2; Elizabeth - Cleopatra - Feb 9; Stephen - Julius Caesar - Feb 16
